Heat Shrink Type Closure (FSC) consists of outer cases, gaskets, trays and inner kits. The outer case consists of body and cable inlet part and is constructed of highly chemical resistant material.
The ribbed body has high mechanical strength against impact.
The HST closure has an air valve on its cover for checking air pressure drop, reliable moisture tight housing with hot-melt type sealing, and efficient fiber management through a splice tray holding structure and easy clamping of tension member & grounding.

It has four round ports one oval ports, in which sealing method is done mechanically i.e through rubber seals & dedicated washer and the ports are tightened with closing cap.
This closure allows user to work on the dedicated port multiple times as per the field/O&M requirement.
